A LITTLE ABOUT MY JOURNEY... SO FAR
I was born. That is how my journey started. Chances are if you are reading this, you have been born too! We already have something in common. Imagine that.
I was born missing my left leg, left hip and kdney with muliple other birth defects that required 23 major surgeries by the time I was 13. The doctors gave me a medical death sentence. But Dr Jesus had a different prognosis. There I am as a little girl fishing with my Daddy at 5. All I caught was some tangled rope... but the fish weren't the point anyway.
I met Jesus when I was seven years old and He walked into my room in Florida. I took one look into His deep eyes of liquid love and was forever captivated by His gaze. I am more in love with Him now than ever. If you ask me why I do what I do, He is my reason. He is my reality. He is the romance of my life. He is my breath and my song.
The journey into love has taken me to many places and many people over the last decade. Slums in India, forgotten orphanages in Central Asia, the wartorn bush of Africa. I have traveled far and wide. But there is not a crisis, a problem, a situation that Love doesn't hold the answer for. I am utterly convinced.
I love writing, photography and have found freedom to embrace my artistic inner core in the last year. I love beauty, creativity and the pulsating, riveting rhythm of Life. I was created to communicate, to share the sound I hear in Love's heartbeat.
This web space is all about that. It's the expression of the overflow of His heart poured into mine. I want His eyes to see my world through. His lenses of limitless love. And I desire with everything in me to radiate heaven's perspective to all who are weary of living in a sightless world.
In 2006 I was ordained by Heidi and Rolland Baker and Iris Ministries and sent out to pioneer Iris Sudan and minister the love of Jesus to the nations.
It is my desire and intention to share my ongoing, deepening encounter with the One Who is Love through the these pages that will indeed... change the way you see. And change the world. |
